HNK Hajduk has been struggling for the establishment of fairer relations in Croatian football for years, and one of the key things in this fight is changing the current situation within the refereeing organization.

The last events at the Croatian Cup final match only confirm our thesis that this organization urgently needs independent reform at all levels of competition. The introduction of a respectable foreign refereeing commissioner is a solution applied by other associations, it has raised the quality of match refereeing and we consider it necessary. We believe that trust has long been lost, and as a result, for the purpose of assessing the quality of refereeing, we have analyzed it in the last four years.

For this analysis, we only considered the the biggest derbies of Croatian football because those matches bring the greatest result, economic and market value. It is possible that we missed some situation at the expense of any club, but further mistakes make it even worse. We also point out that such a short video cannot point to the tendency of refereeing criterion as something that directs the match and leads to a certain outcome, so we have only highlighted some obvious mistakes. We intentionally didn't want to name the referees of certain matches because we consider that the problem are not individuals, but the whole system that was wrongly set up from the starts. The goal of this video and analysis is solely related to the quality assessment of the refereeing organization.

The analysis includes only clear mistakes. Each mistake has its associated video.

What do you think, how many refereeing mistakes have been made at the expense of Hajduk in the last four years in the derbies?

What do you think, how many refereeing mistakes have been made at the expense of Dinamo in the last four years in the derbies?

Compared to these figures, Hajduk has been damaged in 40% games played against GNK Dinamo in the past four years (23 games were played), and in the last two years this percentage has increased to incredible 67 percent.

In the same period of four years, GNK Dinamo was damaged in 8.6 percent of the matches. Again, it is possible that we missed a mistake at the expense of both teams, but the numbers are more than indicative.

The fact is that both our opponents and Hajduk have been damaged by bad refereeing and that Hajduk is fighting for a fair and quality referee system in Croatian football, not for its position with the referees. A quality system is one of the key conditions to enable that the better team always wins and to create good and faster football that consequently raises the competitiveness of Croatian clubs in international club competitions. That's why we also publicly warned about refereeing when our opponent was damaged at our expanse (eg Hajduk - Lokomotiva, 28th round).

The poor quality of referees damages the clubs, but also the overall football. We wonder how much harm this has done to game attendance, sale, season tickets, sponsorship, player value, etc. We are also investigating the possibility of claims for damage from those responsible.

The Croatian football management system has been mapped onto refereeing organization. We also remind you of the "Analysis of Croatian football governance: Framework for good governance in sport - problems and solutions" .

HNK Hajduk will not stop or back up at any point from this fight for fair relations in Croatian football and in it, we will keep using any legal means possible.

And we will win, because Hajduk doesn't lose such games!
