Hajduk II lost the opening match of the spring part of the season against Gorica. Coach Orescanin's team started well the match against the second-placed team, most of the first half they were the better team. However, Victor Astafei scored in the 40th minute from 12 meters for 1:0 lead of the home team.

Gorica took the initiative in the second half, the home team had several more chances, and one of them took place in the 49th minute. Maslowski took the corner kick, Nemanja Ljubisavljevic was the fastest  and scored a header.

By the end, Gorica had two more good chances, and in 63rd minutes, Ivan Delic had the biggest chance for Hajduk, but the goalkeeper of home team Kristijan Kahlin saved his goal.

In the end of the match, when Hajduk tried to score and reduce Gorica's lead, the hosts went in a counterattack and Henrik Ojamaa scored the left angle of the goal from 20 meters.
