Heavy rain and wind marked the first team's afternoon training session that was held on the main Poljud pitch. Coach Joan Carrillo and players concentrated on tactics during this more than hour and a half long training, with a lot of attention given to the defensive part.
Despite bad weather during the first five days of training, they were able to comply with the coach's expectations in the fifth day of preparations for the remaining part of the season.
Ahmed Said Said and Bruno Budalic missed training for minor health issues. On Saturday, the players will have a morning off, and preparation activities will continue in the afternoon. By the end of the first of seven weeks-long preparations, they will have threemore training sessions.
