Head coach Joan Carrillo spoke to the media on the post-match press conference this afternoon at Poljud, after a 1:1 draw against Slaven Belupo, behind the closed doors.

"We played a very bad match. Not only my players failed today, I failed as well. We didn't create chances, we had a plan after the last win over Inter but we didn't stick to it. I was hoping for progress in our game but it didn't come today and I am the first to blame for that. I still believe in my players, of course. I managed to quickly check statistics, which is on our side. It was hard to play with no audience, but perhaps it is even better that the match was played behind the closed doors because we did not play well. We have one week to prepare for Cibalia. I make all decisions independently and work for the prosperity of the team. As for Nizic, he couldn't play because he was sick. If I often have to change the defense, it will be very difficult to make progress. These are in my opinion the best players and this is why they play. Unfortunately, their progress has not visible today. We all know that this process can be long-lasting, sometimes it takes longer, sometimes shorter. I hope to see further improvement".
