Hajduk's striker Franck Ohandza continues playing great matches recently. First he scored for 1:0 lead in the 66th minute, on the assist of Ahmed Said Said, while in the last minute of added time, he scored another goal, this time on the assist of Hugo Almeida.
"Of course I'm happy because of my two goals but the most important thing is that we won this match. I'm satisfied with how we played, we fought as a team. We all know what our tasks are on the pitch and we are focused on fulfilling them. We opened the match well, but then they regained their confidence and started playing better. Luckily, we scored for a lead and after that it was a lot easier" said Ohandza and added:
"I'm happy, but all in all, the team and winning are the most important. We have to play well, win and progress, and scorers are not important".
Midfielder Toma Basic commented the victory of his team and the upcoming last championship match before the winter break.
"We opened the match well and played well for about twenty minutes, we had an initiative and some chances, but then we stopped. They were moving between the lines, we had to play faster, but we didn't. For the second half, we agreed to put further pressure on them and speed up the rhythm of the game, so that they have to run and we run the game. Ohandza scored a really fantastic goal and opened the way to winning. We have to keep up like this in the next match against Inter, so that everyone is satisfied and that we create a positive atmosphere before the winter break and the holidays".
