Captain Zoran Nizic returned, he got a minor injury during the training session two days ago, but he didn't want to miss Thursday's training, an important preparation for Saturday's match against Slaven Belupo at Poljud, kick - off 15:00. Nizic will be ready for the match, as well as the team's top scorer Marko Futacs, who trained separately from the team due to illness. Nizic and Futacs trained with the rest of the squad today.

Zvonimir Kozulj has had five consecutive training sessions since his return to high intensity training, he is returning to normal training rhythm for the final 50 days of the season. Only Josip Juranovic, Anthony Kalik and Marko Bencun won't be able to play the next match.

On Thursday, the first team trained on the main pitch, it was their penultimate training session before the match. Tactical details were in focus, head coach tested what they have practiced in the previous days. The training session did not last for long, after the introductory part, the remaining part of the practice lasted for around one hour. In the previous two days, they had three training sessions, each one lasted for almost 120 minutes, so the emphasis is now on tactics.

Hajduk is currently fourth on the table, Slaven Belupo fifth. The difference between the teams is 17 points. The third-placed Osijek is only one point above, there are ten more rounds to play. Five games in April and five games in May. In the next nine rounds, Hajduk will play six matches at Poljud, twice withoutthe usual support and help from the stands.
