After penalty shoot-out, Hajduk reached Croatian Cup final and defeated Lokomotiva at their stadium in Zagreb. After 90 minutes, the result was 1:1, with no changes in extra time, and the winner had to be decided based on the penalty shoot-outs, where Hajduk was a better and more precise team and deserved a great celebration. Zeljko Kopic's team completely dominated the match, Hajduk created many great chances to score, but they scored only one goal during the match, an equalizer after Lokomotiva's few-minute-long lead.

Coach Kopic was truly happy after his team qualified for Croatian Cup final and because of the fact that they played fantastic 120 minutes at Kranjceviceva stadium.

"Just as we expected, this was an extremely demanding match. We played very well in the first half, we created a lot of danger for the hosts along with stability in a defense phase of the game. In the second half, we also had some great chances that could decide the match and I can say that we were psychologically at a very high level. We generally played very well and I'm happy that we have achieved one of our goals. Everything we did on our training sessions paid back to us, there was no fear today either when we conceded the first goal or after missing so many chances, because we really did play great and we must be proud of that" said Hajduk's head coach.
