Hajduk and Osijek shared points in their 1:1 draw at Poljud, after Ahmed Said Said scored an equalizer for Hajduk in the added time. Hajduk was having initiative throughout the match but they didn't manage to score till the end of the match, while the guests scored from the first real chance they had.

"We played very well in the first 15 minutes, but afterwards we had a lot of unforced errors in passing the ball. In the second half, we have changed things. We had variations of three and four players in the last line. By moving Savvas in the defensive line, we tried to get a better organization, in the end we ended the match with four strikers. There were good things, but also those that were not as I expected. In the end I must be satisfied, although our only ambition was to win this match" coach Zeljko Kopic said at the press conference after the match.

"The first half in Pula against Istra gave us an indication of how we want to play and the first 15 minutes of this match were in that context. I'm aware that later the idea of the game did not work, we simply did all we could to score that goal. I was hoping this would happen a few minutes earlier, so that we manage to score one more goal. Our first goal is to regenerate well from a psychological and physiological point of view, so that we can prepare for the next match. I'm aware of where I came, as a coach I have the responsibility, and we are playing each game to win. We will do everything to win the Cup match on Wednesday and progress further into the competition".
