Today, a ceremony was held at Tomislavgrad Municipal Hall, where leaders of HNK Tomislav and HNK Hajduk have signed an Agreement on business and sports cooperation.
The Agreement was signed by Ivan Kos, President of the Board of HNK Hajduk and Ilija Bagaric, President of HNK Tomislav, in the presence of two members of the Supervisory Board of Hajduk Nikica Krnic and Marko Erceg and the Tomislavgrad Mayor Ivan Vukadin, a member of the Board and also the Minister of Science, Education, Culture and Sports Petar Galic and other employees from HNK Tomislav.
The President of Hajduk Ivan Kos thinks that this is only a formalization of the already started cooperation, all with the purpose of professional development of football staff and systematic development of children:
"I'm glad I can be a part of this historic moment. This is just the formalization of what we are doing, cooperation has begun a long time ago. I am happy that we can continue in the direction of even better relations and cooperation, and Hajduk will give maximum support to Tomislav. We want to help develop players in Herzegovina and not just in Split, we want to develop professional and sporting skills to improve the quality of staff and to provide support for children to develop properly. Each child may not succeed in football but our intention is to provide them the best education possible through sports and football. We are building a story to attract even more children to sport and develop them into good people".
President of the HNK Tomislav Ilija Bagaric was really happy for this new collaboration, especially because Hajduk recognized potential for future development in the player from Tomislavgrad:
"A beautiful story was created, Nikica Krnic and Krešimir Gojun came to us explaining possible cooperation between Hajduk and Tomislav and we are very happy about it. I must point out that we have already six players who are now in Hajduk, as the Club has recognized a great potential of these areas. We want to improve professionally and what I liked was that our children will stay here and follow the plan and program of their football education".
Tomislav Vukadin, Mayor of Tomislavgrad, believes that this is a historic agreement signing:
"I have to say that this is a historic signing of the agreement between Hajduk and Tomislav. We are not a big community, but we have a big heart and we are happy that Hajduk has found their partner in HNK Tomislav".
Minister of Science, Education, Culture and Sports Petar Galic agrees:
"This is a historic moment for the Municipality of Tomislavgrad, but also wider. This is just one small step in our cooperation. I am glad that Hajduk has returned to Herzegovina, congratulations to the Presidents of both clubs for their effort. I hope and believe that this historical cooperation between Hajduk and HNK Tomislav will bring great results in the future".
