Only 1 degree Celsius and extreme cold welcomed the first team at the main Poljud pitch for their first training session within winter preparations for the remaining part of the season.
Coach Joan Carrillo and his assistents presented the players the plan and program of their preparations in the upcoming period, before the first championship match, which is scheduled on February 19, 2017 against RNK Split at Park mladezi stadium.
Coach Carrillo had 26 players and three goalkeepers for the first training session, who trained under the watchful eye of a new goalkeeper coach Tihomir Bulat. Josip Basic and Marko Bencun, who missed the first part of the season due to injuries, trained under special programme.
In the first week, the team will do 10 training sessions at Poljud as well as a series of kinesiology tests and health and nutritional examinations which are scheduled in the introductory part of the preparations.
