It was their round 29 match in the MAXtv First League and the last this season's derby between these two teams. After more than eight years, Hajduk finally beat Dinamo in Zagreb! Although Dinamo had their chances, in the first half, Hajduk was dominating and kept the lead till the half-time. In the second half, the scorer Ante Erceg was immediately replaced by Toma Basic and Dinamo started dominating the field, they were constantly attacking Dante Stipica's goal, but uselessly.
