Hajduk returned to the winning track, Zeljko Kopic's players won three points in a tough match against Rudes, who practically didn't threaten Hajduk at all. Adam Gyurcso scored the only, winning goal on the assist of Ahmed Said Said in the 52nd minute. Hajduk had a few more opportunities to score, but there were no other goals until the end of the game.
"The match was in line with our expectations, we played against a defensive opponent, that sought their opportunities through a rapid transition and we knew we had to be patient if we wanted to score. In the first half, our passes were not fast enough, Rudes successfully defended and that is why during the half-time we put an emphasis on the few things that we have to improve. In the second half, we created an excellent action that resulted in our lead, and then we had several more opportunities to score more goals. In the end, the guests remained on one shot on goal and I'm generally happy with what we did. I am happy for Adam, he scored a goal and I believe it will now be easier for him in the next games" said coach Kopic after the match and expressed his satisfaction with the win and with how his team played in the second half.
