Hajduk played a good match at Gradski vrt and deserved a win against Osijek for a placement to Croatian Cup semi - finals. Coach Kopic's squad won 3:1 thanks to goalscorers Franck Ohandza, Zoran Nizic and Ante Erceg, who scored the third goal in the last seconds of the match.

"The match was of high intensity, energy and significance, we knew how difficult it will be to play at Gradski vrt. We played with three classic attackers in the beginning, in the second half Osijek took the maximum risk, which was a good choice for them because they soon scored, and then we presented our alternative option with three players behind. Nizic's goal decided the match and we tactically closed it. Congratulations to Osijek on everything, I am delighted by the reaction of my players, psychologically and tactically.
