Today, Hajduk played the last First Division round, which was the away Adriatic derby against Rijeka at stadium Rujevica and Hajduk lost 3:1. Ahmed Said Said scored the only goal for Hajduk in the 50th minute. Hajduk ended the season on the third place and on Wednesday they are playing the last match of the season, Croatian Cup final against Dinamo in Vinkovci.

"We started the match badly and the first goal that we conceded too early influenced our game. We lacked passes and Rijeka deservedly lead 2:0. We entered the second half with much more energy and we managed to control posession. We actually dominated but then Borja Lopez got cautioned again and after he was sent off, it directed the remaining part of the match. We wished for the best, we really prepared for this match and it mattered a lot to us, we prepared as if it was the most important match" said coach Zeljko Kopic after the game.
