After his squad defeated Dinamo in Zagreb and ahead of the next First League match, against RNK Split on Wednesday at Poljud, kick - off 20:00, coach Joan Carrillo held a press conference that lasted half an hour and answered to many questions related to the last match against Dinamo and the upcoming match against the neighboring team from Park mladezi.

"I'm trying to forget the match against Dinamo, we're now concentrated on RNK Split. However, I felt an explosion of enthusiasm, I was glad for it, people approached us, they congratulated everyone. Before the game, I asked the players whether someone had won Dinamo at Maksimir and it turned out that only Terziev had done it with Ludogorets. It was nice to see cheerful faces of the players. After all the trouble we had, our fans supported us and we won for them" Carrillo said, and continued:

"I have the feeling that the players showed the right lesson in game discipline, they kept the game plan. They understood everything correctly. Later in the dressing room, we celebrated together. The problem is that the next game is soon, we don't have much time for joy".

After a long time, Hajduk will play at home with the supporters.

"As far as the audience is concerned, we felt like we were playing away matches during the stadium ban. However, this is behind now and our supporters will again be our 12th player".

"We played against RNK Split after a mid-season break. They changed the team and formation, they are disciplined in the game. I don't think it will be easy because of two things - we've all gone out of adrenaline against Dinamo and we will have to pick the players who are ready, also, Split takes very little risk and waits for the opponent's mistake. If you give them a chance, they use it. Against Split, we will play more attacking football and if we stay more concentrated, we will have a better chance to win. In the last match against Split, we had some good chances in the first half, but in the second we made a mistake in defense and we conceded a goal. The game ended in a draw, although we had great chances to win, with more precision, we would have won. I hope we have learned the lesson, we need to stay focused" concluded Carrillo.
