Four wins out of four matches. The match statistics achieved by Hajduk during the current mid-season preparations is great, their last victory took place today at in Dugopolje, where a combined Hajduk team was playing against Second Croatian League club NK Dugopolje. Hajduk celebrated 2:0 thanks to the goal scorers Ahmed Said Said and Ante Erceg. With this victory, they successfully completed the mid-season preparations. Coach Joan Carillo is pleased after this match:
"I'm happy for the victory, but this game does not bring three points. First of all I am satisfied with the constant progress of my team. During our preparations in Turkey, players have improved many things in the game and above all, progress was made in many physical and tactical elements. We have another ten days of work and training before the first championship matches. I am confident that the team will be ready for the season, for us, the most important match is now the one against RNK Split, after which the most important will be each subsequent one".
We asked coach Carrillo about his expectations for the second half of the season.
"We are fourth now, we need to keep winning in order to climb up the table. My idea is to make a balanced team. I have talented players to play forward, but the strength of each team is a good balance with quality defensive tasks. Four friendly match victories are behind us, but I would change them all for three points against Split" concluded Carillo.
