On Saturday, March 11, 2017, Hajduk will host Rijeka, the current MAXtv First League leaders, at Poljud stadium in the Adriatic derby, kick - off 17:00.

"We now turn to a new week, we have to be well prepared for the match against Rijeka, which we will play on Saturday. We need to stay united and analyze the mistakes from the previous match. We've got a tough game with a motivated opponent ahead of us, but we have to raise our heads and spirits and give our best to win this match" announced the captain of Hajduk Zoran Nizic.

After suspension, Ante Erceg, who  had to skip the match in Osijek due to three yellow cards, will be ready for this match. In the first two games of the spring part of the season, Erceg scored two goals, as well as Marko Futacs, who scored his second spring goal in the last championship match. Marko scored a goal to Rijeka in the last mutual match at Rujevica.

"Very important game against Rijeka is ahead of us, we have to concentrate on it and try to train even harder this week. We have to work on the mistakes we made in the match against Osijek and do everything possible to cheer up our fans that supported us in Osijek, there were so many of them" said Futacs, the scorer of the only goal in the match against Osijek.
